Report: Miami WR Ahmmon Richards has career-ending neck injury

2019 NFL draft

One of the top pass-catchers in all of college football may never be able to play again.

Miami’s Ahmmon Richards has a neck injury that is considered career-ending, per the Miami Herald:

Widely regarded as one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2019 NFL draft class, a knee injury had held back Richards’ 2018 campaign, limiting him to just one catch for nine yards.

If this is indeed the end of football for Richards, he ends his collegiate career with 74 receptions for 1,382 yards and six touchdowns.
