No land masses are in the path of Tropical Storm Nadine, the latest named system to form in the Atlantic Ocean basin this year.
Nadine joins Hurricane Leslie, a storm that's been active for more than two weeks, which is spinning in the eastern Atlantic off the west African coast. Like Nadine, Leslie is not a threat to the United States.
Nadine's forecast cone from the National Hurricane Center depicts a system that is expected to hold at tropical storm strength through Thursday. After that weakening and eventual dissipation are expected as the storm fades away after this upcoming weekend.
